Hey sorry about yesterday our whole schedule
got switched for the summer teaching schedules so now our pday is on Fridays!
About that picture with the medication, we were
all in the classroom and this lady comes on the intercom and says that she
wants all four of us Hermana's need to report to the upstairs in 2M so we were like
OK thinking it was because we got our visas and we were all freaking out and
when we got there they told us we were contaminated (that's not really what
they said but basically) because our roommate got influenza and had to be in quarantine (Yolo) for like 4-5 days! and so they gave us medication that is supposed to
prevent us from getting it even though we all got the shot and everything! But
hopefully everything works out because we are all feeling fine so it was really
nothing.
My favorite thing is gym time!! our zone plays
sand volleyball! and it's the greatest thing!! We all have so much fun! We were
down to 2 districts and we got a new one on Wednesday but our other one is
leaving this Monday so there will still only be 2..so it's weird but the new
people are weird..because when we play we are having fun but everyone is still
a little competitive so yesterday Hermana Agle yelled to Elder Jones (who was
serving the ball) "BRING IT JONES!" and this new girl comes up and
taps her shoulder and says "we're just having fun playing volleyball, lets
keep the Lord in our hearts" ....? I was like what the heck because it was
out of love!! It was weird so I don't really know how I feel about these new
ones....and don’t' worry I'm not crazy competitive anymore, isn't that
weird...I don't care if we win or lose..I hope this is just a mission thing
haha
Spanish is coming...slowly but surely
hopefully, I just have a hard time remembering what I've learned which is dumb!
but it's coming.
I feel bad because I want to have stories for
you guys but lesbie honest I sit in a classroom all day!!!
Thank you all for the pictures but the
computers here are dumb and I can't click on them to make them bigger so if you
have some of your favs you want to send me send them via mail...I know that's
harder but I'M SORRY OK! ha I love you all and I miss you so much! I really
almost cried in the laundry room because of the pictures you guys sent!
I can't believe I've already been here 3 weeks!
Time is crazy here a day feels like a week but a week feels like a day! This
week during class we've shared our testimonies and I've loved it! I'm usually
not crazy about bearing my testimony but it's so great to hear other people and
then to hear mine and just remind myself why I feel like I need to be
here.
Oh! Someone was telling me a story about this
lady, she got baptized when she was like 83(?) and she got her patricharical
(omgosh I should know how to spell that...I don't) blessing shortly after
getting baptized and in her blessing it said "if Elder White would have
served a mission you would have become a member much sooner" or something
close to that..Isn't that crazy!! It made me feel like there are going to be
people only I can teach and I’m so excited to meet them and get to be able to
see them come unto Christ. I love you all so much and think about you and pray
for you everyday! I hope everything is going good with everyone! Thank you all
for the letters and emails! I can feel your support and it's much appreciated!
Love you love you love you!!
