Hello Hello Hello

I’m in PERU ah!  It’s so different here but it’s cool.

The first night when we landed it was crazy they only speak Spanish!! So I was freaking out a little bit and then they dropped me off at a house with some other sisters and only one knew very little English but somehow it worked. There are stray dogs everywhere!! I kid you not it’s crazy and I just want to know where they all come from!! but everything went well yeah my companion speaks English luckily! or else I would die! I'm not going to lie the first couple days were hard but I've adjusted and I can mostly understand what people are talking about if I focus really hard! but speaking is something totally different! But I'm trying!

There is a chocolate brand here and it's called Winters so whenever people read my nametag they say Oh like the chocolate ha so thats funny. The food...some of the food is so great!! but other food...I want to die when I eat it! Flan...I hate flan. ha but the ward is so great and the people are so great!! I'm trying to communicate but we mostly just smile and nod at eachother haha OH and everyone here says hello to everyone in the room so if you walk into a room with 20 people you go and touch cheeks with everyone and then you talk for two minutes and you have to go touch cheeks with everyone before you leave...it's a process haha 

Everything here is good. and YES we has a baptisim on saturday! ha but really it was awesome! I've only helped teach her twice but it was great to be able to see her so happy...she doesn't look happy in the pictures but she was happy haha her name is Karina and she's a really sweet lady! I'm amazed at how fast I have come to love the people of PERU! Me and my companion get along great she's been awesome!! we had to pull the heads and tales off of the fish that one lady gave us so that was interesting. Another lady in our ward feeds us every sunday and her food was awesome!! Except for the flan...barf. 

But everything is going great!! I love you all so much!! I'm praying for you and I hope everyone is happy!! Love you!!
