Hello FAMILY!!

This week has been really good!! We have been given so much food this week I think my tummy is going to burst!! My companion and I are determined it's impossible to lose weight on the mission. Which sucks.
But #YOLO!!

Anyway this week has been good. not the greatest I'm not going to lie, a lot of things happened that were really tough but some how I'm here and I'm still happy.

We had another service this week sanding cement walls!! Wahoo!! So we were all wearing doctors masks and it was so freaking loud!! It was a lot of fun and then after the service the zone leaders bought us ice cream!

Cheese ice cream....I was a little nervous to try it but it is so great!! It's not actually made out of cheese ha and we don't really know why it's called cheese ice cream but it is delicious!!!!

Also, Hna Maribel, who makes us lunch on Sundays, she was making us something special with hot peppers and so to prepare it she made Hna Burgos wear gloves because the peppers are hot and Hna Maribel couldn't even breathe because the peppers so she is wearing a mask! ha It was funny! Oh, and also, I wasn't allowed to help because I'm not from Peru so I don't know how to cook....haha!! I asked, "How can I help?" and she gave me a stool and said "sit! You don’t know you're doing!" And so I sat... haha!

Like I said this week was rough but we are continuing working and working hard to get baptisms and I know you all are like “She’s in South America! It's easy to get baptisms!” And I'm like that too but for some reason I don't have them! Don't worry though! All that is going to change!! Hahaha! Just know we are working really hard.

One day after eating 1,000 pounds of food we sat down in the park for 5 minutes and this is at 8:00 at night and there was this girl playing basketball so we were getting ready to leave and we were going to give her a pamphlet but she started coming up to us while Hna Burgos was writing all our info on the pamphlet and she just said "hey those guys over there on the other side of the park, they rob a lot of people so you guys should probably leave and go to another park because it's not super safe here." #cutie!  So we said thank you and contacted her and we have an appointment with her this week and I hope everything works out because she's so cute!
We have been trying to find a lot of new people and trying to get people to come to church! One of our investigators, Martin, came to church this week...Martin is difficult because he doesn't feel the need to repent because he feels like he's a pretty good person. So we talked to him about all the commandments and he was just like yeah I don't know about those, and then he went off about how if he doesn't drink coffee, a lot of people will be out of work and he doesn't think God wants people to not have a job and I was just like....”Are you for real?” But anyway, he came on Sunday and the lesson in Sunday school was about Repentance!!  He was really paying attention so I'm hoping it kind of sunk in a little, haha!

But yeah, no, everything is going good here! I hope all of you are doing good and being safe!! Know that I love you all!! Thanks for everything!!

Love you! Morgan
