November 18, 2013

this is the tree I was talking about in the back of Salgari's house. I love it so much!

MICHAEL GOT BAPTIZED!  and another investigator of the elders his name is Herber.

it was really great and our good friend Hugo is who baptized him! it was a really great day and we are so excited for him!!

and we had a mostly good week ha we are teaching and we are really happy about it but we still feel like as missionaries we aren't doing the best we can so we are going to work on being EVEN BETTER!! but I don't know how we are going to do it because lets face it....we're pretty great people ha well at least Hna Skousen is! I swear she is so great and she helps me so much!
sorry there isn't a lot to talk about this week but Me and Hna Skousen were walking through the street one night and we pass this little girl and her mom outside a house
waiting for someone and we pass by saying buenes noches and we keep walking but I just stopped and asked if we could share a folleto con ella and so we did and we scheduled a time that we could go visit them, and then when we went to teach them we taught her and her two daughters (their dad was a work) but we were talking and they have seen us around, one of the friends of the little girl lives in our same apartment building and so I've talked to her before and one of the other little girls has been to the church before with an old investigator and they live next to and know members from our ward. it was just so amazing to see how well the way was prepared for us to meet this family, they came with us that night to an activity in the church and when we walked them back to their house we got there the same time their dad got back from work so we were able to meet him and so we are hoping that we teach them as a family! I just know the Lord is so active in helping us find the people that are prepared! and I'm really grateful for that!

we are really going to focus on teaching families that is our goal but it just also happens that all the families that we are teaching the parents aren't married and they have to be married before they can be baptized so that is going to take a lot of work but we are ready for it!
I really am loving the mission, I don't think I've ever said that, but I want you guys to know that I miss you so much but I know I'm supposed to be here! and I'm loving everything! it's hard sometimes especially when you just want to sit in your sweats all day but we go out and we have fun and teach so many wonderful people! I'm just loving it!
I hope that you guys are doing good! and that Judes birthday was good!
I hope you guys are being safe!
I love you all!!

MAY THE ODDS EVER BE IN YOUR FAVOR!!
ha yes I'm still somewhat the same :)

bye,
Morgan
