Hey sorry that we are late to write
today...we were just chillin up in the Andes Mountains for PDAY...#nbd ha
but i have pictures don't worry
first!!!!
I saw this animal!! I don't think it's
llamas ...or it's shaved llamas...or its something different but so cool huh? a
lady in the ward of the Elders owns this field it's huge!! and she has llamas
and sheep and like 4 huge fields and nobody goes on Monday so we get to go!!
it's great
also I'm super lucky
AND I GOT THE PACKAGE!! thank you so
much!! really I love all of you! you are the best!
also fun fact because I don't know if
you know...but you can cook Mac and Cheese in a microwave! wadup!
So like I said we went to the Andes
today for PDAY and there was SNOW we were all excited! and a lot of the Latinos
hadn't seen snow before but there wasn't that much but it was still fun!
the zone! it was slushing (snow slash
rain)
the first time I've seen my breath in a
while!
and then you get up to the punta and
there is snow but also these lakes that are so BLUE
it was really foggy at first but then it
started to clear up! it was so great and a lot of fun!!
This week has been a good one! we are
working really hard! we are working with a family of 5! they aren't married so
we are working on getting all that taken care of and then we will get them
baptized! they are so great! they are the Familia Mendoza, the missionaries
before were working with them but they said that a lot of stuff happened and
the family said they didn't want to get baptized, but we knocked on their door
and found them! and they are ready...they just need to get married!! but we are
also working with Kathy trying to get her an answer to her prayers!! but it
will happen! we are really focusing on finding families and it is going super
well!
the only frustrating thing is that 3 yes
3 of our investigators love what we teach but don't want to change, or in other
words they still want to be catholic, 2 of the 3 believe that the Book of
Mormon is the word of God...but still don't want to change..1 of those 2 is a
family....it's rough but we are going to be working really hard with
them!
We are doing well, we have a lot of
faith that there are people here ready to get baptized! and we are determined
to find them!
Hna Solis is so great and I love her so
much! we are getting along really well and we are just happy so it's really
nice! The ward is doing well and the members are helping us and it's really
great! so we are loving the work!!
I love you all and I hope you are doing
well!!
stay safe in the snow and ice!!
Love you!
Hermana Winters
