SO many things happened this week...in
the first 3 days, so monday we found out about cambios, and we found out that
Hna Macleod and I weren't switching and we were going to be together 6 more
weeks, and then we all went and got delicious tacos...which aren't really real
tacos but they were close and they were good, oh also they were huge.
and then tuesday we had the fabulous
idea of contacting outside of the church, so we went and I drew the plan of
salvation and we talked to a lot of people
and then we went to give the keys to the
church back to the Zone Leaders and when we went over they were like
"uh....so we might have some news..." and then they told us that Hna
Macleod was supposed to be in cambios but they didn't get the right info to get
her there....because what happens here in Huaraz is everyone leaves the night
before because it's an 8 hour bus ride. so then the assistants called us and
told us that we had to leave that night, so we ran around like crazy trying to
get all of her stuff ready and teach our appointments and then we left at 10:15
OH but we are in the bus station and Elder Custer was traveling with us to and
to get on the bus you need your ID did I have mine? no. so I then got to feel
how all the people on the amazing race feel when they are in a taxi, we had 10
minutes to take a taxi to our apartment me to find my ID and then to get back.
WE MADE IT!!! it was awesome! We get to Lima at 5:30 in the morning and Lima is
SO HOT!! and then I was going to go back up to Huaraz with my new companion at
11 in the afternoon but the bus was full so we stayed in Lima to work and it
was SO HOT!! I started sweating in the morning when we got there and I didn't
stop until I got back home. but it was a good day, I got to see Hna Skousen
which was really fun!!! So then we leave that night, and we get home and there
is no food in the house and we were hungry so we leave....oh and guess who
forgot the keys to the house...THIS GIRL, so then we had to go get a hanger
from the Zone Leaders so that we could break into our house, it was a rough
morning, but we got in!!!
Meet my new companion
Hna Solis
she is the companion that everybody
wants because she is so great!!!
and I love her!
she is from Paraguy and she has 13
months in the mission
we had a good slash bad week, Kathy did
not get baptized because of some things said by her extended family and it all
went down the day we were in Lima but we are working really hard to get her
baptized this week, but then we found 2 families!! we are really excited!! we
know if we work hard we can get them both baptized this month!
we are both really excited so ANYTHING
CAN HAPPEN (the song) ha
but I hope all of you are doing good and
that you guys have a fantastic week!
its blurry but its the rain of Huaraz
and I love it!! even if it does soak everything ha
I love you all so much!!
have a good week!
love
Hermana Winters
