FAMILY. hello
this week was good, Saturday in the
morning the stake had an activity with the youth and they asked us to bring
stuff from our missions, picutres, letters, everything and anything and so that
was really good, they were doing a day in the MTC they (the youth were just
learning all day! 6am-6pm. when they first told us we had to be there i was
like WHAT!! that's forever but we were only there for a second.
with all the stuff that I brought! it
was rough ha but it was good, and then after they looked at all our stuff we
did splits and they came out with us
these are the two girls that came out
with me, they were really cute and nice, we didn't know we were going to be
doing splits so Hna Solis left to go to our appointments and I told her we
could contact and we were knocking doors for maybe...3 minutes and one of the
girls just says "I hate walking." haha good luck on the mission
ha but luckily we found someone to teach so she didn't have to walk to much ha
but the best part was that when we all
came back they had a little testimony meeting and through the youth I heard
them share all these experiences that they thought were so cool, and they were
experiences that happen all the time but I had slowly forgotten that those
experiences just because they happen doesn't mean they aren't miracles and I'm
really grateful I had them to remind me to be thankful for the little
things.
Leydi started coming with us to our
appointments and helping us out with that and so that's been really good!
this week has been pretty ordinary, we
are working hard! especially with Jorge because we know he can get baptized! we
only passed by for him once last week and he came to church 15 minutes early!!!
Ok I don't know if i've explained this but everyone, almost everyone in Peru is
late for everything so the fact 1 that he came 2 he was early and 3 the first
thing he said was "you guys forgot about me!" ha it was great to see
him come and he even brought his son that is visiting from Lima.
So that's really good, and we've found
new people to teach but like usual they need to get married so we are
deteremined to get them married!!
I watched the Womens conference and saw
the Mcfarlens singing! i was like I KNOW THEM!! it was great ha, but it was
really beautiful, we all got a little trunky after but then we jumped right
back into the work!
We are doing well, I'm sorry that my
email last week was a bit of a downer because I shouldn't let you guys think
things are bad because they aren't! I'm happy I'm doing the Lords work and I
have no doubt about that, I'm so thankful I'm here and I miss you all but I
feel right here.
and you should all read President
Monsons talk from the last sisters conference "we never walk alone"
it's so great and I love that man!
and I love you all! thanks for all your
love and support! if there is anything I can do for you let me know!
love you
Hermana Winters
